Grand Bassin
Grand Bassin is nestled within the crater of an extinct volcano, surrounded by lush greenery and hills. Hindus in Mauritius believe that the water of Grand Bassin carries the same spiritual purity as the Ganges, and they use it for religious rituals and ceremonies. Grand Bassin is also a beautiful and serene location, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Black River Gorge National Park & Alexandra Falls
Stop at viewpoints in Black River Gorge National Park and Alexandra Falls. Black River Gorge Park is the largest park in Mauritius, encompassing almost 7,000 hectares. You'll be able to observe a variety of flora native to the island, and, if you're lucky, monkeys at the Black River Gorge viewpoint.

Chamarel
Arguably one of the most renown sites in Mauritius the famous 7-Coloured Earth consists of red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow soil. Admire this natural phenomenon, in additional to viewing the Chamarel Waterfall, and visiting the tortoises in the park.
