Swimming with Wild Dolphins
Swimming with wild dolphins is one of the most popular, and exciting, experiences on the island! You'll board a boat, and depart for Tamarin Bay, in the southwest of the island. With life jackets and snorkelling gear provided, you'll have the chance to swim with Spinner Dolphins in their natural environment. While it's not necessary to know how to swim for this experience, knowing how to swim will enhance the experience as the dolphins are often very quick. You'll also have the chance to to snorkel near the coral reef (time permitting). The entire experience (finding the dolphins, swimming with them and snorkeling) lasts about 2.5 hours.

Whale Watching
After swimming with wild dolphins, you'll head further out to sea, beyond the coral reef in order to spot the whales that make the waters off of the coast of Mauritius their home. Sperm whales can be observed off of the Mauritian coast all year, while Humpback Whales can be spotted from July - October, when they make their way northward, towards the warmer waters of the equator. Typically there is about a 60% chance of seeing whales (slightly higher from July - October when Humpback whales are present).
